Senior Finance Analyst (Commercial Performance & Investment)

Job Description

Brief summary of job profile:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Senior Finance Analyst. This role is crucial in supporting key business decisions through in-depth commercial financial analyses, strategic planning, and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across departments, focusing on performance optimization, store investment analysis, new store setups, strategic initiatives, and data management.

Key Accountabilities:

1) Store Network Performance Management

• Conduct financial analysis at the unit economic level (ROIC, Payback, IRR, Break-even) across cohorts, vintages, and locations.
• Perform cannibalization analysis to assess store impact and competition.
• Analyze and control sales operations targets to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Partner on rental strategy by conducting benchmarking and feasibility analyses.
• Collaborate on labor management by performing benchmarking and utilization analyses.
• Contribute to the development of customer experience battle strategies

2) Store Network Investment Analysis

• Analyze and track new store machinery and equipment investments.
• Perform RRR (Renovation, Refresh, Remodel) tracking and analysis to support decision-making.
• Maintain and enhance the RRR (Renovation, Refresh, Remodel) policy framework.

3) Store Network Expansion Management

• Develop and refine new store standard build-ups.
• Participate in SDC meetings to ensure adherence to consulting and investment threshold safeguards.
• Conduct BOE analysis, release, and tracking for new stores.
• Track NSO (New Store Opening) performance from M1-M15, supported by dashboards and reports.
• Propose actions based on NSO performance reviews and sensitivity analyses (e.g., location mix, format mix)
• Support the cluster fortress strategy to strengthen market positioning.

4) Other Duties

• Perform additional tasks as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Ensure the accurate mapping of outlet listings.
• Download, clean, and shape data for business use.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support business insights and decision-making.

Job Requirement

1) Education/ Training Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Auditing, or a related field.
• MBA or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA/CFA) is a plus.

2) Experience

• 04+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment planning, and data-driven decision-making. Preferably in F&B, Retail or FMCG industry.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting software.

3) Knowledge of:

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)(Must have).
• Annual Operating Planning, Rolling Forecasting Process
• Finance management system and business legacy systems
• Apply of technology in management reporting build up

4) Skills (Ability to):

• Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapting to changing priorities
• High attention to detail
• Results focused – ability to deliver in high pressure environment
• Strong Vietnamese & English language skills
