Job Description

* Planning & Production Control

  • Ensure the promised ship dates (On Time Delivery) are tracked and monitored to meet customers delivery requirements.
  • Provide the promised dates nearest with Customer Request Date (CRD).
  • Analysis the root cause of delayed deliveries with related department and dress the issues quickly and productively.
  • Maximize capacity and maintain the efficiency of utilization of equipment.
  • Best use of planning tools to optimize manufacturing cost.
  • Calculate and propose the investment of the plant capacity as customer requirements.
  • Develop planning tool to for transfer products such as Passive, PBC…to ensure the shipping schedules are met.
  • Control and order raw material enough for production.
  • Conduct the daily/weekly/monthly with related department effectively.
  • Deploy and monitor the production scheduling on ERP.
  • Make sure all the Work Instructions are generated and updated in a timely manner.
  • Identify and solve effectively all the potential issues among cross functions which related to Planning.
  • Respond to customer accuracy and timely.
  • On Time Delivery and other assigned reports are completed as required timeline.

* Inventory

  • Provide the rolling forecast to suppliers in a timely manner to ensure the materials are kept at suppliers to shorten the lead time.
  • Review backlog period to ensure the pull in/push out are communicated with suppliers to meet revenue and optimize inventory.
  • Manage Work In Progress (WIP) value and aging to minimize inventory.
  • Run MRP (Material Required Planning) to purchase material accurately.
  • Update production yield in time to prevent the shortage /extra finished goods to customers.
  • Analysis and send the aging materials/strategic/safety stock reports on time.

* Leadership

· Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable performance level in an ever-changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities.

· Ensure you have the right people in the right jobs, by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and methodologies throughout your organization.

· Ensure the Performance Management Process is fully operating with meaningful stretch goals for all employees in your organization, that feedback is on-going and focused on development and done with 100% On Time Delivery.

*Others

  • Continuous Improvement processes are reviewed and proposed for improvement.
  • ISO and customer audit: leader in planning.
  • Other tasks assigned by Line manager.

Job Requirement

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in administration business, supply chain management or a related field..

Working Experience 

  • 10+ years of working experience in production planning in manufacturing company with 3+ years of managerial/leadership experience.
  • Using SAP and Oracle ERP is preferred.

Special Abilities

  • Customer focus.
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles, Quality Assurance is preferred.
  • Experience in Project Management is preferred.
  • Ability to excel in a cross-organizational team environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate people, teamwork, and conflict management.
