Responsible for leading the team focusing on studying the market to propose potential markets/trade areas for expanding Highlands Coffee store network and analyzing & appraising new locations to select the right ones.
Key Accountabilities
Market Research
Lead team to study market, gather data about market trends, customer demographics, competitor activities, and other relevant factors to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Provide analysis and recommendations to assist in developing Expansion Strategic Proposal yearly.
Data Management and Forecasting
Drive the building of modeling and tools to analyze database of the overall site analysis process, considering factors such as building size, layout, visibility, and customer access to forecast new revenue/capex to meet the Box of Economy (BOE).
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely updates to support effective decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and strategic proposals to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to Head of Department (HOD) and relevant Departments.
Complete other new projects and reports as assigned by HOD, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Store Performance Review
Lead the review of the performance of new store openings (NSO) and rolling base stores on an annual basis.
Analyze financial and operational data to assess NSO performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimization.
Team Management
Recruit, train, evaluate staff to meet the target of team and department.
Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to meet department’s targets.
Job Requirement
Education/ Training Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems/ Data Analysis/ Business Administration/ Finance or a related field.
Experience
03+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food & beverage/ retail industry.
Proven experience in market research, data analysis, modeling, and financial forecasting.
Knowledge of:
Retail commercial acumen
Good at quantitative analysis
Understanding real estate dynamics, market trends, property valuation is a plus.

Working hours: as per business needs. Typically 8am-5pm Mon-Friday
