The Sourcing Leader is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services. This role involves leading a team of sourcing professionals, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company's operational and strategic goals.
· Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with the company's objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.
· Identify and build relationships with key suppliers and vendors based on quality, reliability, service, and cost.
· Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts while maintaining strong partnerships.
· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
· Oversee daily procurement operations, including purchase orders, inventory management, and delivery timelines.
· Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity.
· Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
· Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and emerging suppliers.
· Monitor budgets and expenditures, ensuring procurement activities remain within financial targets.
· Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, NPI) to streamline procurement processes.
· Prepare and present procurement reports and metrics to stakeholders.
· Ensure that the procurement activities are aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and values.
· Ensure that the procurement activities are compliant with the relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
· Ensure that the procurement activities are conducted in an ethical, transparent, and accountable manner.
· Ensure that the procurement activities are responsive to the needs and expectations of the internal and external stakeholders.
· Ensure that the procurement activities are supportive of the company’s sustainability and social responsibility initiatives.
Job Requirement
Must have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technical background, supply chain management, or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and purchasing, preferably in leader or supervisory role in electronic components or CNC factory
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken
· Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, standards, and industry and market trends
· Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, tools, and software
· Knowledge of contract management and legal aspects of procurement
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff

Nice to have:
