Job Description

  • Boats under TSY’s management: Build the maintenance plan and supervise the execution (list of maintenance and repair)
  • Investigate boats’ issues, troubleshoot boats to determine the types of needed repairs and the service schedule
  • Carry out the works of boat commissioning, repair, maintenance and other after-sales services (in HCMC and in other provinces), including boat engines, electrical systems, navigational equipment, hulls, propellers, masts, rigging and sails - and supervise the work of suppliers in case of complicate operations (boats under TSY’s yacht management and external boats)
  • Follow procedures, complete repair documents, service records and technical reports
  • Work closely with the person in charge of customer service in order to ensure a smooth flow of information internally and between the company and clients
  • In liaise with the purchase team and other technical services supervisors, prepare cost estimations required for boats technical services
  • Work with design agency to create documents, drawing of the boat in accordance with the standards of the Vietnam Register
  • Support for warranty process and spare parts services
  • Support for the search of suppliers: Search the sourcing and send details of specifications to Purchase team in order to look for more suppliers, ensuring the quality of services delivered and optimizing the costs
  • Manage database of technical works delivered
  • Other tasks as assigned by Line manager

Job Requirement

  • Minimum experience of 3 years in a relevant role (boat building, boat management, engine repair, boat dry-docking and overhauling…)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical - electronic system 
  • Knowledge of and ability to repair marine engines, including inboard motors and outboard engines
  • Technical knowledge and skills related to hull maintenance and repair (experience with gelcoat, fiberglass, and relevant materials…)
  • Ability to read and elaborate technical design
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently according to assigned timeline
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Be a good team player
  • Good ability to read and write in English
