Tax Accountant

Job Description

***BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
- Maintaining, fostering and enhancing Tax management capacity to meet consecutive changes of tax.
- Ensuring the quality of the reports as well as submitting timely all reports to the government agencies.
- Ensure that all Tax related transactions will be posted into SAP.
***OPERATING ENVIRONMENT:
• Responsible for preparing all purchasing invoices related to VAT refund: recheck and file it according to the period.
• Together with Tax & GL Supervisor - Taxation to work with Tax Office and Tax Auditor, Custom Department Government.
• Support Import-Export Accountant with preparing Import-Export Duty documentation and submit it to the Customer Department.
• Support to the Tax & GL Supervisor on audits and litigation.
• Review all sales invoices have been properly issued and computed for monthly VAT report.
• Prepare and submit value-added tax (“VAT”) monthly and quarterly declarations
• Providing updates on changes to tax legislation
• Make the General ledgers following VAS standards
• Support to the Tax & GL Supervisor with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and practices (Vietnamese Accounting Standards and Systems, International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Participate with Accounting Team to close the books before the end of the financial year
• Update all new Tax policies from the government authorities and inform to relevant people/ departments.
• Ensure that PVN complies with the local tax rules and regulations.
• Perform other tasks to be assigned related to the job.
