Test Lab Automation Supervisor leads the design, development, and delivery of automatic equipment, integration systems, and digital transformation solutions to support global testing strategy and R&D roadmap. This position facilitates the modernization initiatives with Test Lab Engineer, Reliability Engineer, and NPD Engineer to build the new test system for the new products, with high accuracy and on time. This role is a fundamental part of our test engineering team located in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with proven integrated automation experience, as well as someone who exhibits the drive for continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
1. Project Management
Attend improvement meetings, and work with the Team to develop action plans for new test system development and scheduling needs.
Coordinate development plan and follow-up actions, including but not limited to Conceptualization or Process Analysis, Design, Simulation & Prototyping, Testing & Deployment.
Create collaborative project communication channels with the Global team, with the Reliability Engineer/NPD Engineer/Test Engineer.
Develop and maintain Gantt Charts, Project Schedules, Risk Assessments, and Contingency Plans.
Develop agendas to facilitate and document project meetings.
Deliver formal presentations to leadership regarding project status.
Manage suppliers of capital equipment for turn-key applications/custom equipment.
Manage the cost, timing, and budget of each project.
2. Automated Test System Development
Conduct/ lead research, development, and implementation of new technology to build the new automation test system and improve the current testing process, accuracy, reliability, and visuality.
Work with/ lead the builds of simulation, and real prototypes to confirm feasibility as well as deployment time/cost estimates and test procedures to commit to quality, and delivery initiatives with an aggressive focus on breakthrough process and technology improvements to achieve a substantial competitive advantage.
Ensure proper management of global strategy, sharing and updating the knowledge and technology with the global test team.
3. Team Leading and People Development
Develop Mechatronic engineer/Electronic Engineer specialist capabilities by identifying strengths, gaps, and expectations as well as continually devoting to individual development and mentorship.
Nurture and empower leadership culture with an appreciation of Milwaukee's core values.
Drive the team’s performance to committed KPIs and key objectives.
Engage in operational management and strategic activities, align personnel and team’s organizational chart planning to the company’s target picture.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Automation/Mechatronics/Industrial engineering.
Specialty skills, understanding, and knowledge in Robotics, Factory Automation, Automation Control, and Software and Electrical Design.
Skills in 2D/3D drawing, PLC programming, LabVIEW programming
5. Other Skills:
Excellent English skills in both written and verbal communication.
Strong leadership with a sense of urgency, a team developer with excellent communication, envisioning, and planning skills.
