About the job

• Manage all accounting activities of the business unit
• Primary liaison with other departments in all aspects related to Accounting

Key Accountabilities:

ACCOUNTING

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations
• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and legitimacy of documents, payment papers, financial statements, insurance and liabilities.
• Perform periodic reviews and reconciliations of financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

TREASURY MANAGEMENT

• Oversee the settlement of revenues and expenditures and inventory the business's assets and cash flow
• In charge of weekly and monthly cash flow reports
• Effectively manage cash on hand and in charge of FX hedging when needed

TAXATION & COMPLIANCE

• Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and advise management on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Collaborate with external advisors and regulatory bodies to address compliance-related matters.

FINANCIAL REPORTING

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and financial reports, statements, and analysis to senior management, board members, and external stakeholders.

STAFF MANAGEMENT

• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.

OTHERS

• Provide information to lenders, investors
• Other data and ad-hoc analysis as requested
