JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Architect (“Architect”) will join Aspire’s Development Department to lead and manage integrated design for small-scale serviced apartment and mix used projects. The role is responsible for driving concept design, design development, and coordination with consultants to ensure design quality, feasibility, and alignment with development objectives.
The Senior Architect will take ownership of design deliverables from concept through schematic and design development stages. The role reports to the Design Director and works closely with internal development, operations, and leasing teams, as well as external consultants.
The Senior Architect will play a key role in ensuring design intent is effectively translated into buildable solutions and aligned with commercial, operational, and technical requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role covers three key areas:
1. Concept Design, Design Development & Coordination
· Lead architecture and interior concept design.
· Prepare optimized test-fit plans maximizing GFA, compliant with the Pink Book and codes.
· Coordinate and develop design from concept to construction stage
· Review and manage consultant submission for alignment with project brief and regulation.
· Guide and mentor junior in design development and deliverables
2. Consultant and Stakeholder management
· Manage consultants to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
· Collaborate with internal teams to align design with business requirements.
· Lead coordination meetings and drive clear decision making
· Consolidate feedback into actionable design directions
· Support the development of design guidelines and standards.
3. Construction Support
· Provide design clarification and respond to RFIs
· Review contractor design proposals during D&B contracts for alignment with the client brief
· Conduct site walk and manage design related issues/defects.
· Review material and mock up for alignment with design intent
· Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure design integrity

Qualifications
· Degree in Architecture.
· Strong design portfolio.
· Fluent in Vietnamese; English preferred.
Experience
· 10 + years in architecture.
· Experience in both consultancy and developer
· Background in residential, hospitality or mix-used projects
· Experience leading teams and managing consultants
Skills
· Strong design and space planning capability
· Proficient in AutoCAD and Micorsoft office.
· Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination (Architecture, Structure, MEP, ID, etc.).
· Strong coordination skill, ability to manage multiple peojects and deadline in fast tract, design and build projects
