Accountant Associate

JOB IN SUMMARY

As an Accountant Associate, you will support the finance and accounting operations of the company. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual with an understanding of accounting principles and SAP systems. You will be responsible for tasks including payment processing, account reconciliation, inventory tracking, and support financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support in oversea payment: TT/ LC/ Import purchase/ Import machines (review the contract and its terms highlight if any FCT incurs)
• Review the account payable, account receivable; Update and control the credit limit, credit days AR/ AP aging
• Assist in stock transactions and stock declaration
• Manage the monthly tracking of inventory by grades and by aging, reconcile actual stock with customs reports
• Review fixed assets transactions & manage the fixed assets reports, fixed assets count
• Create and run the prepaid allocation. Reconcile and confirm the prepaid balance
• Support in review/ create the master data (vendor, customer, stock...)
• Post entry: reclassification, allocation, accrual, provision...
• Intercompany balance confirmation; Balance sheet reconciliation & breakdown
• Assist with month-end activities & financial reports; Prepare & review the management reports (stock, GM, Overheads...)
• Assist with internal & external audits
• Work with the finance team on yearly budgeting
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by managers

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Auditing or relevant fields
• 0-2 years' experience; understanding of accounting principles and processes (AR, AP, banking, sales, stock, payroll, costing)
• Experience in using SAP & SAP master data input, understand the workflow of costing in SAP
• Strong process and workflow understanding
• Proficient in MS Office Tools, especially in Microsoft Excel
• Good at English communication (written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
