The Assistant Maintenance Manager supports the Maintenance Manager in ensuring high equipment availability, reliability, and safety across the battery production lines (cell balancing, scanning, insertion, assembly, laser welding, and EOL testing, laser etching…). Responsible for supervising the corrective maintenance team, planning preventive maintenance, production line transferring/ dupplicating, and leading problem solving of difficult technical issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
• Drive & support PM team for all the KPIs: MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), Machine downtime, and Change-over efficiency.
• Leading team to work with a Safety & Quality First culture: Unsafe Acts/Conditions (UA/UC), Lost Injury Frequency Rate (LIFR), and risk assessments., Quality escaped, PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• Lead GK/VE Productivity Initiatives: Strong Financial awareness and clear numerical tracking (numeric visibility).
• Driving for OEE improvement: Maximize equipment utilization and minimize defect losses to improve productivity
• Checking and providing support for Spare Parts Management and Cost Control: MIN-MAX, Slow moving, Cost inventory effectiveness
• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM), excecuting Preventive Maintenance (PM)
• Line standardization & improvement: Optimize layout, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, cycle time, UPH (Units per Hour), and Loss efficiency
• Driving maintenance optimization: Planned & Execution, Smart / Express Maintenance
• Team development at each level: Road map skill matrix, successor build up at each level for critical position: Supervisor, Engineer, Shift leader
• Progress capturing and providing support for Project management at genernal level for: NPD, NPI and other events in shop floor
