Job Description
ROLES:
An experienced and strategic-minded Group Brands Manager to oversee the commercial performance and growth strategy of our luxury brand portfolio. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing profitability, maintaining healthy inventory, and enhancing market share across all brands within the group. This role requires strong business acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to navigate complex market dynamics and capitalize on growth opportunities in the luxury sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commercial Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of commercial strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, inventory health and market share for the company's group brand portfolio. Take ownership to negotiate with brand principals on commercial contracts, brand supports to sustainably grow the brands in Vietnam in close partnership with Business Development and Finance teams.
- Business Planning and Forecasting: Develop annual business plans, sales forecasts, and budget allocations for each brand, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market dynamics. Take full ownership for assigned brand and store Profits and Losses (P&L).
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the management and growth of multiple luxury brands within the company's portfolio, including brand positioning, product assortment strategies, OTB, buying strategies for each brand, pricing strategies and promotion strategies adapting to different distribution channels including domestic, travel retail, omni-channel and e-commerce.
- Strategic Marketing Planning and Development: Develop strategic brand initiatives and marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, Marketing activities ROI and sales growth across all relevant channels in close partnership with Marketing Director from DAFC Centralized Marketing team.
- Retail Excellence: Drive excellence in retail operations, including store performance, store productivity, manpower productivity, merchandising strategies, luxury customer experience initiatives, store operational compliances, and sales training programs, to enhance brand presence and store profitability.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct in-depth market analysis, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the luxury sector, informing strategic decision-making and market positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Omni-Channel, Centralized Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Legal and Operations, to ensure alignment and integration of commercial strategies with overall brand objectives.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), sales, profitability and inventory health metrics, and market trends to assess the effectiveness of commercial strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including retail partners, landlords, and industry associations, to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and market influence.
- Build highly-engaged and highly result-driven commercial team: Set clear Department and Functional objectives and Key performance metrics to deliver both Company and Department objectives. Provide learning and development opportunities and performance management for team members. Develop highly result-driven team with strong collaboration among team members and with cross-functional teams.
Job Requirement
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Knowledge:
· Strong knowledge and passion for Luxury Retail goods are required.
Experience:
· At least 4 years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the premium or luxury retail industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
· Decent experience in taking full brand P&L ownership. Multi-brand management experiences are preferred.
· Experiences in managing a team with scale of at least 20 staffs and above.
Skills/Competencies:
· Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking ability, with a deep understanding of luxury consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
· Proficiency in financial analysis, budget management, and sales forecasting.
· Experience working in a global and multicultural environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools/software.
· Flexibility to travel as needed.
