Job Description

One of Vietnam’s leading construction contractors, with over 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments is seeking candidate for Business Development Manager with details:

  • Search for, classify, and approach Chinese investors/partners.
  • Analyze client needs, propose tailored solutions, and prepare bidding documents, quotations, and contracts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Chinese-speaking business associations and KOLs in Vietnam (e.g., CCCV, TAITRA, HKEA, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the Technical and Estimation departments to develop technical proposals, preliminary budgets, and schedules.
  • Organize project kick-off meetings and act as a cultural and language bridge between internal teams and Chinese clients.
  • Participate in commercial and legal negotiations (EPC, D&B, PMC contracts).
  • Provide bilingual translation of documents and interpret during meetings when required.
  • Propose, evaluate, and develop a network of Chinese-speaking subcontractors and suppliers that meet cost and quality standards.
  • Update and maintain the partner database, conduct regular evaluations (KPIs, capacity, credibility).
  • Collect macroeconomic information, FDI policies, tax incentives, and legal procedures applicable to Chinese investors.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on capital inflows, new projects, competitors, risks, and opportunities.

Job Requirement

  • Chinese: HSK Level 5 or above (Fluent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing). Preference for candidates who have lived or worked in China for at least one year.
  • English: Good communication skills in an international working environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Business, Foreign Trade, Construction, Project Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years in business development/industrial real estate/construction. Preference for candidates who have worked with Chinese clients or in Chinese-invested industrial parks.
  • Strong understanding of investment procedures, construction regulations, and EPC/EPCM project models in Vietnam.
  • Good negotiation, presentation, and basic financial analysis skills (IRR, NPV, cash flow).
  • A wide network with associations, industrial parks, economic zone authorities, banks, and Chinese consultants is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, BIM viewer, etc.).
