Business Intelligence Developer

Job Description

- Develop Interactive Dashboards & Reports: Design, build, and deploy interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI to meet the business's analytical needs.

- Data Visualization: Create clear and impactful data visualizations that drive insights and support data-driven decision-making, utilizing a design thinking mindset to focus on the end-user experience.

- BI System Management: Maintain and optimize existing Business Intelligence systems, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and scalability.

- Data Preparation & Integration: Utilize Power BI Data Flows to streamline data preparation, ensuring the data is clean, structured, and ready for analysis. Manage data integration from multiple sources.

- Advanced Data Modeling: Build and optimize complex data models within Power BI, ensuring they are designed for performance and scalability while supporting business needs.

- Collaboration & Ad-hocs: Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs, translating them into actionable insights and driving continuous improvement in reporting processes.

Job Requirement

-     2+ Years of Experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics: Strong background in BI, with a particular focus on Power BI.

-     Experience with Power BI: Proven track record in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI.

-     Knowledge of Data Systems and BI Systems: Solid understanding of data systems, databases, and Business Intelligence (BI) systems, with experience in managing and optimizing these environments.

-     SQL Proficiency: Solid skills in SQL for querying and manipulating data directly from databases as needed.

-     Experience with Power BI Data Flows: Proficiency in creating and managing Data Flows to prepare and manage data from multiple sources effectively.

-     Experience with Large Datasets and Complex Data Models: Comfortable handling large datasets and building complex data models within Power BI, ensuring both performance and scalability.

-     Ability to Create Interactive Dashboards, Reports, and Data Visualizations: Demonstrated ability to design user-friendly, interactive, and visually appealing dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.

-     Design Thinking Mindset: A user-centered approach to creating reports and dashboards, iterating on designs based on user feedback, and ensuring the final reports meets the needs of the business.
