FINANCIAL REPORTING
- Prepare and reconcile profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements for multiple entities across multiple locations.
- Manage and drive output from the Financial and Corporate Accounting functions to ensure that deadlines and timetables are met, including:
· All aspects relating to the preparation of the monthly management accounts
· All GL and bank reconciliations.
· Monthly reports for the Finance, Investment and Audit Committee and the Board.
- Prepare a detailed analysis of the management accounts identifying key variances from budget for inclusion in the monthly Finance report.
- Manage annual audit process with external auditors.
- Prepare annual statutory financial accounts fully compliant with local requirements
- Prepare financial data and performance report, annual budget and forecast exercise.
- Manage regular financial audit and annual filling with external parties in a timely and accurate manner.
- To create and perform financial audits in internal audits to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. And to provide objective assurance that an organization’s internal controls, corporate governance, and accounting processes are operating effectively.
- Expertise in IFRS standards – international reporting standard
BUSINESS SUPPORT
- Produce and maintain financial policies and procedures of the Financial and Corporate Accounting functions.
- Work with the Payroll department to ensure accurate allocation of payroll activity data and costs.
- Manage the Accounts Receivable process to ensure that all overdue debt collection procedures are followed.
- Manage the Accounts Payable process to ensure that all supplier agreements are conformed with and that all payments are made within company terms.
- Responsible for systems accounting including IT systems, online banking etc.
- Provide advice to financial and non-financial managers to support ongoing management and development of services.
- Work in co-ordination with all Department Heads across the organization, providing assistance, resources and support as required
- Analytical abilities to develop pertinent reporting tools in order to support local management decisions
- Business partner – understand business and profitability by products and segment
- Force or proposition to improve profitability, with for instance; saving initiatives, productivity gains, working capital reduction,
- Ensure with appropriate leadership the development of the Finance team – hard and soft skills
- Communicate and explain financial challenges within the local organization
- Ensure permanent detailed and transparent communication with the Group and Regional Finance
COMPLIANCE
- Corporate Income Tax (CIT) in Vietnam
- Assist with administration of insurance for the Group including annual renewal process.
- Undertake one-off projects as directed.
- Taking responsibility to oversee in all the accounting activities of both the financial and management accounts
