As the International Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in expanding TEKCOM’s footprint in India, the Middle East, and South Africa – three of the world’s fastest-growing and relationship-driven regions for plywood. You’ll be responsible for building long-term partnerships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring TEKCOM becomes a trusted and preferred partner in these markets. Success in this role requires not only strong sales execution but also a deep appreciation of cultural nuances, negotiation styles, and trust-based business practices across diverse regions. You will need to adapt quickly, balance modern trade practices with traditional relationship-building, and consistently deliver value to our clients.
Responsibilities
· Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies tailored to India, Middle East, and South Africa markets.
· Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with distributors, importers, buyers and key decision-makers.
· Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities, pricing strategies, and competitor activities in these regions.
· Act as a cultural bridge, ensuring TEKCOM adapts effectively to local business practices and customer expectations.
· Work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure our plans are aligned with the broader company goals, allowing us to track progress, adjust as necessary, and stay on target
· Close collaboration with internal teams (CS, product development, marketing, logistics) to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
· Represent TEKCOM at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events in the assigned markets.
· Provide timely sales reports, forecasts, and feedback to guide company strategy.
Job Requirement
Education
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Experience
· Minimum 3 years of experience in international sales or business development, preferably in building materials, wood products, or related industries.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
· Familiarity with import/export regulations, trade finance, and plywood/wood products industry is a strong plus.

Other Requirements
· Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally
· Flexibility in work hours to accommodate overseas clients
· Experience with CRM tools and sales software would be beneficial. The ability to speak a European language in addition to English is a plus
· Experience in an MNC or a foreign company is preferred, ensuring a strong understanding of diverse cultural dynamics and global business practices.
