Commercial Planning & Reporting Specialist

Job Description

1. Target Setting & Planning Support

• Apply and maintain standard monthly target-setting processes across business units in SEA countries.

• Train business leaders on the Group’s planning methods.

• Help teams explain the logic behind their targets and business plans.

• Manage a central record of all planning assumptions for transparency.

2. Business Planning Advisory

• Act as an analytical partner to support commercial strategy and planning.

• Provide templates and tools to guide business planning.

• Review and challenge plans when needed; escalate major issues to leadership.

3. Business Reporting Management

• Create and update weekly and monthly reporting templates.

• Ensure all units use reports consistently and correctly.

• Manage the reporting cycle; track on-time and complete submissions.

• Flag and help resolve data quality or reporting delays.

4. Performance Monitoring & Insights

• Review business reports to identify key trends and performance issues.

• Advise teams on how to act on report findings.

• Summarize important insights for senior management.

5. Tools & Governance Ownership

• Own and manage planning templates and reporting frameworks.

• Keep all updates tracked, documented, and shared.

• Work with the analytics team when technical changes are needed.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.

• Master’s degree is a plus.

• 3–5 years of experience in business planning, internal consulting, or commercial performance roles.

• Prior experience working with multi-unit or multi-country operations (preferably in Southeast Asia).

• Familiar with monthly performance tracking, business planning cycles, and commercial reporting processes.

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for planning and reporting.

• Experience using reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to analyze and visualize data.

• Able to manage templates, processes, and documentation with discipline.

• Excellent communication in both English and Vietnamese.

• Knowledge of additional Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
