Gardenline International, specialized in outdoor furniture for over 25 years in Vietnam & China. Our premium outdoor furniture produced in Vietnam and shipped to customers all over the world. We are looking for a Furniture Costing Officer, Product Merchandiser or Industrial Engineer to join our team as a Costing Officer in Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh office.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving quote request from customer services or directors, studying, and clarifying the requirement, compiling cost of the main material and sub-material's additional costs on the Excel Spreadsheets.
- Working closely with different departments of Gardenline, to get the required data to finalize the costings of product lines.
- Working professionally with factories or suppliers to collect the costs of products and material rapidly to finalize the price quotes.
- Organizing the cost data collected from external suppliers and internal teams for final pricing.
- Comparing the costs among different factories to choose best manufacturers for furniture items.
- Understanding the BOM and Costing Process to collect the cost info from all sources to compute on spreadsheet correctly.
- Picking up periodic changes in product design, raw material and manufacturing updates to determine the effects on the product price.
- Demonstrating sense of urgency, care and accuracy in compiling the costings
- Follow the timeline of cost computing, to submit the quotes in time.
- Fluent in English.
- Have experience with Bill of Material, Packaging and kinds of material, preferably in furniture or garments industry.
- Good level of understanding and working skill in MS Excel is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of Costing, Merchandising or Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Expert in organizing, posting and using large numbers and data on the spreadsheets
- Ability to manage the costing processes, negotiating with suppliers and timeline.
- Work closely and cross check with functional teams to assure cost accuracy.
- Keep up with various updates to provide latest Costing in time.
- Strict attention to details and can work under timeline pressure
