Job Description
Context:
• Report to Engineering Manager
• Lead the maintenance execution team consisting of E&A Specialists, E&A Technicians
• Serve as the main trainer/mentor/foreman for E&A Specilist, E&S Technicians regarding maintenance execution (focusing on safety, quality and first time right (FTR).
• Receive planned work from the planning team.
• Consider stakeholders including Packaging and Brewing Lead the main customers
• Subject Matter Expert on automation and PCD Security for entire brewery and mentor for technicians
• Maintain collaboration and function as main contact with local D&T organization (OpCo Cyber Security Officer)
Purpose of the job:
• Ensure that the reliability and availability of all production and utility equipment have a long-term focus and provide input and coaching to planning and execution of maintenance plans, keep health and safety as a priority. Ensure adequate breakdown resolution for automation-related breakdowns.
• Drive and support SC organization in the implementation of measures that reduce risks of Cyber Threats, as well as maintaining and sustaining processes, systems, competencies, etc. to keep the security measures in place and updated
Responsibilities:
1. Safety, food Safety and sustainability
• Collects safety-related as well as legal-related maintenance tasks and translate them into maintenance plans for execution.
• Ensure all maintenance jobs are safely executed OTIF.
• Ensure legal related maintenance tasks are executed OTIF.
• Lead the implementation of safety improvement activities act immediately when unsafe behaviour occurs, stop unsafe behaviours and report high-risk activities and give feedback to relevant people
2. Quality
• Collect quality-related maintenance tasks and translate them into maintenance plans for execution, including calibration activities.
• Support identification & transfer of quality tasks to operations AM Team step 5 (including quality inspection, Q-points)
• Drive instruments Calibration management process following local and Heineken standards and procedures
3. Work Process
• Manage and organize asset master data within the CMMS. Use, monitor and control the asset breakdown structure and define all PM tasks and inventory items in CMMS
• Lead to ensure the entire job lifecycle of maintenance (workflow management) for planned jobs is implemented and functional. NB: the vast majority of all jobs should be planned, meaning breakdown handling should be limited and being handled by operators (AM step 5 to 7 in place)
• Accountable for managing and controling all Mechanical work (Un/Planned Maintenance, Tagging, CILT..) in OTIF execution and co-execute/help/support if required.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating maintenance works that are not able to be done by operators, technicians as escalation procedure
• Procure emergency services and materials.
• Accountable for managing the work preparation room.
• Monitor asset performance (OPI or line availability) and loss deployment. Be responsible for plant availability (uptime) sustained and improvement
• Lead with Maintenance TL in further optimizing PM strategy (standards and tasks), support the change to move to condition based and predictive maintenance
• Support Maintenance TL in further optimizing spare parts management, collecting and managing asset drawings, documents, permits (licenses), warranties
• Support Maintenance TL to execute and optimize the Long (3YP) and medium maintenance (annual overhauls) master plan
• Conduct the planning and execution of Brewery CAPEX
• Monitor and control maintenance cost
• Manage and implement PA&IT master plan in compliance with PCD procedures
• Responsible for executing all PCD Security activities defined in Foundation and Advance, to ensure HeiQuest compliance for PCD Security".
4. Organization, Interfaces & People Management
• Lead and manage the maintenance execution team of the Electrical Automattion Specialists, (Senior) Technicians
• Ensure proper team alignment and be responsible for the performance and technical development of the team (i.e. including performance evaluations/reviews), including management of the skill profiles, certificates, workforce capacity, etc.
• Ensure and coordinate proper handover between operations and maintenance for all maintenance jobs + handle/manage all communication and coordination between the execution team and operations during execution of the work.
• Ensure, manage and coordinates proper handover between the planning & scheduling team and the execution team.
• Ensure proper coordination and handover for spares from and to the spare parts store.
• Align planning with Packaging & Brewing.
• Cordinate and aligns between Maintenance & Purchasing Dept to effectively supply spare parts and service in emergency case
• Cover for Engineering Manager
5. TPM & Continuous improvement
• Be in charge of the continuous improvement loop of PCD Security
• Optimise/organize weekly/monthly/annual maintenance routines (CILT, PM days, PM tasks, Overhauls).
• Lead the application of 5S and VM to enable the sustainability of machine performance.
• Proactively coordinate and manage the development and usage of Visual Management, PokeYoke and CBM for PM / CILT tasks.
• Lead to ensure the sustainability of implemented AM steps 0-5 (foundation & advanced) and support Engineering specialists in the implementation of AM step 6 through integration and optimisation of maintenance processes
• Lead and support the APM team in developing and providing the necessary and appropriate digital tools and applications for finding knowledge, templates, schedules, instructions, good practices and One Point Lessons (OPLs) to carry out inspections report and analyse anomalies (tagging/de-tagging)
• Support Maintenance TL in further development of technical maintenance skills and establishes specialists to support the rollout of AM step 4 (AM & PM advanced technologies).
• Drive and control the quality of maintenance work by using their knowledge of assembly working principles, failure modes and design specifications; and to make sure TPM routes and tools (BDA, MOC..) are followed and used to optimise maintenance processes and executions
• Sustain Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) process to (further) extend life and reduce costs.
• Implement weak component analysis (WCA). Execute improvement activities to improve weak points of equipment.
• Lead the applied structured fault finding procedures; collect spare parts, or organize for his/her team to apply structured fault-finding, including training/mentoring.
6. Information & Data Management
• Support Maintenance TL in ensuring integration, optimization and up-to-dateness of all maintenance systems with the CMMS as the master system for maintenance.
• Be the key-user of the CMMS, OPI data registration in the CMMS.
• Ensure proper job/WO registration (preventive and corrective) and closure in the CMMS (and allocate to required detail-level in the CMMS).
• Be the user of MCRS and DCS in such a way that (planned) maintenance ownership and performance is improved (see 5. TPM).
• Use KPI of planned maintenance productivity and MTTR of planned maintenance jobs to optimize planned execution performance.
• Lead and identify latest development and appropriate digital tools, automation frameworks to support business objectives in processes and productivity improvement
• Implement digital solutions to understand what is happening and why, in real-time, on the shop floor; and to enable real-time decisions to be made concerning the process connected to the data
• Manage automation backup data (parameter, PLC, HMI etc.).
Working location: My Xuan A IP, Phu My, Ba Ria-Vung Tau (Company bus from Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa, and Vung Tau City)
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably MSc degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering and/or similar.
Experiences/skills:
• Minimum 5 years management experience, preferably in a technical/operational surrounding.
• Proven track record in people management (getting things done within a group/team).
• Ambassador for enabling a safe and quality controlled working environment (leads by example).
• Minimum of 5 years experience & knowledge of maintenance (engineering) and/or maintenance planning, also from a strategic point of view: ability to setup and drive (strategic) improvement initiatives and manage changes from the shop floor within the department.
• Mastered all required skill, knowledge and experience for Electrical Automation TL on advanced level
• Ability to effectively plan ahead and set clear and consistent priorities in own work load and that of the team
• Ability to optimize the trans-departmental interfaces (handovers/handshakes) between operations, procurement and maintenance for workflow management, supply and inventory management.
• Key expert to effectively support, train and help to plan and organize CILTS, PM days, AM up to step 5, etc.
• Highly experienced in managing maintenance workflow (job lifecycle) management and the supply work processes
• Key expert in risk based maintenance, asset lifecycle management and Value Driven Maintenance (VDM).
• Strong analytical skills and excellent reporting and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinking and enabler for delivery of sustainability and digital & technology development
