Job Description
1. Operations Leadership & Planning
- Define quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the Operations function, including Supply Chain, Logistics & Reverse Logistics, and Operations Excellence.
- Develop the Operations budget and establish processes to track, monitor, and control actual expenses against the approved budget.
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce overall operating costs.
2. Logistics & Reverse Logistics Management
- Lead the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) team to manage a network of logistics partners and ensure achievement of operational KPIs.
- Plan, monitor, and oversee day-to-day operations and performance metrics.
- Manage 3PL activities, resources, and KPIs during campaign and peak periods.
- Proactively identify operational risks related to 3PL and implement mitigation or preventive actions.
- Manage customer and marketplace returns, ensuring all returns are properly authorized and processed.
- Perform regular inventory reconciliation between 3PL warehouses and the OnPoint system.
- Coordinate with 3PL partners and marketplace platforms to ensure efficient first-mile delivery (pickup/drop-off).
- Collaborate with Brand teams to inbound inventory into marketplace-operated warehouses (Fulfilment by platforms).
- Develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring full compliance by 3PL partners.
- Reconcile fulfillment fees charged by 3PLs and marketplace platforms.
- Manage Reverse Logistics to control bad or non-saleable stock across platforms, 3PLs, and warehouses.
3. Supply Chain Management
- Lead the Supply Management team to conduct monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
- Optimize inventory levels to maintain low Days of Inventory (DOI) while minimizing the risk of Out-of-Stock (OOS).
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely inventory arrivals.
- Coordinate with the 3PL team to ensure sufficient warehouse capacity for inbound inventory.
- Monitor Slow-Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory and collaborate with Commercial teams to clear SLOB in a timely manner.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce Supply Chain SOPs, ensuring adherence by all 3PL partners.
4. Operations Excellence
- Lead end-to-end process mapping, gap analysis, and process redesign across core operational flows, including:
- Demand Planning
- Procurement
- Inbound
- Warehousing
- Outbound
- Returns
- Last-mile delivery
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and operational risks, and translate findings into clear improvement initiatives with measurable impact.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to drive productivity, quality, and cost optimization.
- Establish and maintain standardized SOPs and ensure consistent execution across internal teams and external partners.
- Lead initiatives to reduce operational costs, waste, and losses, including failed deliveries, customer returns, and inventory discrepancies.
- Identify operational risks and develop preventive controls and contingency plans.
