Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain HSE Management System in compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and company standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure Permit to Work compliance (hot work, confined space, electrical).
Supervise machine safety, fire prevention, chemical management, and PPE compliance.
Lead or support incident investigation, report root causes, and monitor corrective actions.
Manage waste, emissions, and environmental performance in line with IFC EHS Guidelines and local regulations.
Conduct HSE induction, toolbox talks, and safety training for employees and contractors.
Maintain HSE records, documentation, and performance reports (accidents, near misses, KPIs).
Support internal & external audits, and cooperate with authorities on safety and environmental compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in HSE within wood, furniture, or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of risk assessment, fire & chemical safety, waste management, and regulatory compliance.
Certificates in ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / Fire Safety are a plus.
Good English communication and MS Office proficiency.
