The Junior Designer (“Designer”) will join Aspire’s Development Department to create conceptual designs for small-scale residential and serviced apartment projects, while supporting the Design Director on larger projects. The role focuses on layouts, mood boards, 3D renderings, and presentation materials for IC memos and Board approvals, while also assisting with documentation, file organization, and coordination of consultant deliverables under the guidance of the Design Director. The designer will report to the Design Director, work closely with the development team, and gain exposure to site activities in a learning and supportive capacity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Concept Design Development
Develop creative, functional concepts for small-scale projects.
Prepare design presentations, layouts, and renderings showing design intent, which will be used for Board approval on new property acquisitions.
Conduct site surveys, gather references, and coordinate with internal teams for project-specific input on layouts and concepts.
2. Design Visualization and Presentation
Prepare alternative test-fit layouts, mood boards, and strong visualizations (3D perspectives, renderings, decks) to communicate design intent.
Support the Design Director by compiling design options and organizing presentation materials.
3. Documentation and Organization
Maintain organized design files, drawing registers, and submission packages.
Assist in preparing presentation decks and ensuring proper version control of design documents.
4. Cross Department Collaboration
Support the Design Director in collaborating with and collecting feedback from the Operations and Leasing teams on each specific project design to ensure feasibility, usability, and operational needs are considered.
Assist the Design Director in completing and refining Aspire’s overall design guidelines by gathering feedback from internal teams and consultants, documenting lessons learned, and keeping the guidelines updated for future projects.
5. Construction Support
Attend site meetings, under guidance of the Design Director, respond to design-related queries from contractors.
Follow up design consultants on minor design clarifications and defect documentation.
Conduct site walks and prepare defect lists for review/escalation by the Design Director.
Job Requirement
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized university.
Strong portfolio demonstrates creativity and technical understanding.
Fluency in Vietnamese; proficiency in English preferred.
Experience
1–5 years of experience in architecture, interior design.
Experience working as a design consultant or as a design coordinator in a collaborative project environment.
Familiarity with hospitality, residential, or mixed-use projects preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and AI-assisted design/rendering tools
Strong skills in visual creation, including mood boards, layouts, and 3D perspectives.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft PowerPoint for design presentations and communication, Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized.
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Team players with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
