Logistics Payment Specialist

Job Description

• Follow up on Payment progress and ensure timely coordination with vendors for submitting Statements of Account (SOA).
• Carefully check and compile required documents before submitting to the Finance team, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor due dates and ensure payments to suppliers, partners, and customers are processed within contract terms to avoid penalties or late charges.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy before allowing the issuance of the official versions.
• Verify debit notes related to local charges for both export and import shipments.
• Validate and process payment requests for local charges with carriers in alignment with agreed terms.
• Collect supporting documents and invoices from related departments to support timely SOA submission.
• Check receipt documents and expense justifications to confirm validity and match with contract terms and payment schedules.
• Organize and record payment documentation in a structured manner, ensuring compliance with internal policies and tax regulations.
• Cross-check contracts, POs, customs declarations, and delivery notes to support accurate and timely processing of local trucking payments.

Job Requirement

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting/ Logistics or any related majors.

2. Experience:

• 1-2 years of Payment processing is preferred.

3. Skills and Abilities

• Excel skills;
• Detail-oriented and willing-to-do mindset
• Basic English communication.
