Job Description

1. System Design, Development, and Integration

  • Design and implement integrated manufacturing systems combining hardware (e.g., PLCs, sensors, robotics), software (MES, SCADA, ERP), and networking components.
  • Develop and maintain operational application.
  • Customize automation platforms and industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies to optimize production efficiency, reduce downtime, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Integrate subsystems such as assembly lines, testing stations, and packaging units into a seamless, unified manufacturing process.
  • Replace or upgrade legacy manufacturing systems to support digital transformation initiative

2. Testing, Validation, and Documentation

  • Develop and execute rigorous testing plans to validate system interoperability, safety, and performance under manufacturing conditions.
  • Conduct extensive commissioning and checkout to ensure correct operation and recovery capabilities of integrated manufacturing lines.
  • Produce detailed technical documentation including installation guides, system architecture, testing results, and maintenance procedures tailored for manufacturing environments.

3. Support, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting

  • Provide ongoing support and preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime due to system issues and ensure continuous operation of manufacturing systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (IT) promptly to maintain production schedules and quality standards.
  • Train manufacturing staff on new systems and technologies to ensure proficient operation and adherence to safety protocols.

4. Requirement Collection and Analysis

  • Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to understand production goals, process workflows, and automation needs.
  • Define integration project scope, timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Align integration solutions with manufacturing standards, safety regulations, and quality control protocols.

5. Project and Process Management

  • Manage integration projects from specification through installation, coordinating with manufacturing teams to minimize disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, safety standards, and internal manufacturing policies throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and provide impartial feedback to optimize system design and workflow integration.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Priority given to college degree or higher
  • Foreign language: Good English communication is preferred
