Planning Manager (Garment Manufacturing)

Job Description

1. Capacity Planning

   • Develop and manage annual capacity growth plans aligned with corporate strategy

   • Analyze customer forecasts to ensure production readiness

   • Escalate potential capacity risks to senior management

   • Coordinate cross-functional alignment (Development, Merchandising, QA, Technical, Production)

   • Identify and resolve under- or over-capacity scenarios

2. Order Management

   • Allocate and adjust orders across factories for optimal balance

   • Proactively resolve issues internally; escalate when necessary

   • Maintain accurate, transparent order data

3. On-Time Delivery

   • Monitor daily output and efficiency with data-driven analysis

   • Lead root-cause resolution with relevant departments

   • Forecast KPI delivery performance

   • Communicate style consumption targets and order updates to customers (e.g., NIKE)

4. Production Planning & Team Leadership

   • Establish streamlined work processes, policies, and inter-departmental procedures

   • Coach and troubleshoot for the planning team and stakeholders

   • Provide professional training and performance guidance to staff

   • Lead “Pull Forward” planning, monitor execution and enforce FOTP ≥ 95%

   • Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement

   • Recruit, develop and mentor departmental talent

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field

• 5+ years in manufacturing planning for apparel/fashion

• Proven capacity-planning, order-management and scheduling expertise

• Strong analytical, cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills

• Excellent communication in English
