Duties & Responsibilities:
ü Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives
ü Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
ü Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs
ü Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
ü Ensure plant safety through compliance of safety standards as issued by company safety committees
ü Achieve compliance for product quality, food safety, and food defense as issued by the QC Department while maintaining overall plant efficiency
ü Manage materials, packaging and raw materials such that all materials are available to meet scheduling requirements on a timely basis by working closely with purchasing and inventory manager
ü Develop short- and long-term capital investment plans for the facility and be accountable for the planning and execution of all projects.
ü As a member of Senior Management, the Factory Director contributes in driving company strategy and culture.
Qualifications
ü Knowledge of manufacturing systems, including BOMs, routings, capacity, work orders, inventory control, and shop floor control
ü Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, EMP, OSHA, FDA... regulations
ü Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Management, or other closely related field
ü Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
ü Strong analytical and process management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirement
ü Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to detail and thorough desire for continuous improvement
ü Plant Management experience in food manufacturing (strongly preferred)
