1. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
2. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY/DUTIES:
Establish a production plan
- Develop and implement a plan to improve the existing production range in an efficient, effective manner
- Ensure that accurate product documents are in the database and distributed to the appropriate teams
Research and develop new products in Vietnam
- Conduct a market analysis (client profile, expectations, etc) to identify gaps in the product range
- Conduct an analysis of competitors products and pricing to ensure Easia is offers the most innovative and best value products
- Create detailed inspection plan and goals
- Develop relationships with key communities, people and suppliers needed for successful production
- Conduct in-the-field research and testing
- Design detailed product notes: sales notes, quotations, operations notes
Communicate Product updates
- Distribute effective product updates internally (sales teams, operations teams, station offices)
- Update sales offices on any new products or product changes
- Inform valued agents of product updates in a timely manner
- Ensure all information in the database and website is accurate and up-to-date
- Work closely with local suppliers to ensure they understand the value of our products and deliver them at the highest standard
- Communicate with fellow product managers to inspire creativity, reinforce Easia product goals and establish consistency across all destinations
- Regular communication with Head of Product on developments in the VN offices
Monitor Quality of Products
- Conduct regular product evaluations (in-the-field inspections, reviewing feedback)
- Adapt successful products to various other markets
- Improve existing products that are not selling well or delivering the highest quality possible
- Remove products that show no potential and ensure that there are no negative impacts on our clients or valued local partners/communities when stopping sales on a product
Promote new product to the markets
- Coordinate with sales teams for promote the new products to the Markets
- Coordinate with sales & Marketing to create agent-specific brochure programs, inspection trips and exclusive products
- Contribute to Easia's marketing team by designing and submitting quality pictures, factsheets and articles for newsletters
Supervise and Support Vietnam product teams (Hanoi, Danang, Saigon)
- Conduct regular product training and operations training in each destinations
- Assist in evaluation of guides and suppliers (drivers, vehicles, restaurants and hotels) in each destination
1. Competency:
- Fluent in English/French language
- Strong knowledge of the tourism field, including hotel and tourism management
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Creative, dynamic and possesses good knowledge about products and destinations in Vietnam
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills to balance and prioritise work
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
2. Education
University: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Hotel / Tourism / Foreign Languages / Economics or other related fields
3. Experiences
- At least five years of experience in the tourism industry
- At least two years of experience in a similar position
