Job Description

Procurement Process Management

  • Develop and implement standardized procurement processes to streamline operations from order placement to delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive process documentation and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.

Price Monitoring & Cost Control

  • Proactively monitor market trends and price fluctuations for materials and products.
  • Collaborate in data gathering and analysis to secure optimal pricing from suppliers.
  • Generate regular reports on price changes and identify potential cost-saving measures.

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)

  • Lead and nurture supplier relationships, particularly for direct material suppliers, through a continuous improvement approach.
  • Develop, evaluate, and enhance supplier performance metrics.

Contract Management

  • Contribute to the drafting, review, and management of supplier contracts.
  • Ensure contracts are current and align with agreed-upon terms and conditions.
  • Monitor contract compliance and adherence to company procurement policies.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Guarantee procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as price volatility and supplier reliability issues.

Order Tracking & Reporting

  • Oversee the creation, tracking, and completion of purchase orders.
  • Provide regular updates on order status, supplier performance, and potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Foster strong collaboration with finance, technical, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and legal standards.

Job Requirement

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on direct materials

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct cost analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
