Job Description

I. Position Objective

Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective procurement, timely supply of goods/services, and strong supplier relationships in alignment with company strategy.
II. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Plan and manage annual purchasing budgets and forecasts.

2. Supplier Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, price, and delivery standards.

3. Negotiation and Contracting

  • Negotiate and finalize purchasing contracts ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
  • Review and manage supplier agreements in line with company policies.

4. Purchasing Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end purchasing process to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet operational and project requirements.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on purchasing performance and supplier management.

Job Requirement

1. Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

2. Experience

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing sectors.

  • Solid understanding of purchasing processes, supplier evaluation, and contract management.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.

4. Skills 

  • Strategic sourcing and negotiation skills.
  • Budgeting and financial management.
  • Project and team management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
  • English communication skills; 

5. Personal Qualities
