QA Senior Staff

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Staff to lead and manage our Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining certification, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing supplier printing quality. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about quality assurance and compliance.

1. Quality Management System (QMS):

• Develop, standardize, and maintain QMS documentation in compliance with ISO 9001:2015

• Establish and conduct management reviews to implement QMS effectively

• Create new documents for new processes and update existing ones as needed

• Control and verify internal ISO documentation through regular audits

• Lead efforts to obtain and maintain ISO 9001 certification annually

• Coordinate third-party certification audits and follow up on non-conformities

• Communicate with external ISO training and assessment bodies

• Provide regular progress reports to the Head of ISO Board

• Conduct internal training to ensure ISO 9001:2015 competence and awareness

• Propose and implement QMS improvements, including digitalization and paperwork reduction

2. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure SDS (Safety Data Sheets) are available and understood in work areas

• Update chemical lists and monitor SDS/MRSL compliance

• Conduct HIRA evaluations and communicate HSE updates across departments

• Ensure departmental compliance during external audits (e.g., Crocs, Higg FEM)

3. 5S & Equipment Calibration:

• Lead 5S implementation and continuous improvement within the department

• Attend monthly 5S meetings and ensure compliance

• Maintain calibration records for measurement equipment

• Ensure all equipment is operational, calibrated, and properly labeled

• Segregate and manage damaged or unusable equipment

4. Supplier Printing Quality:

• Conduct supplier audits and implement AQL standards

• Collaborate with IT to develop software for AQL tracking and reporting

• Organize Q-Day meetings to address critical printing quality issues

• Drive PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles for continuous improvement

4. Safe Launch Process (SLP) Project Coordination:

• Ensure cross-departmental compliance with SLP implementation for new projects

• Identify and report non-conformities for corrective action

• Prepare and present reports on SLP project outcomes

Job Requirement

1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Familiarity with Power BI for data analysis and reporting is a strong advantage

2. Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s or college degree in Business Administration, English, or a related field

• Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system implementation

• Certified in ISO 9001:2015 (Awareness and Internal Auditor)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role; experience in the plastic industry is a strong advantage

• Experience working in a footwear manufacturing environment is a plus

• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and international standards
