QE Supervisor

Job Description

Collaborate closely with Project team ( NPI, PIE,ME,IE…) & Customer to drive all quality qualification activities from initial qualification (ESB/EB/QB/PP/FMP) through to issue within the Quality Control department. This includes establishing and reviewing relevant quality documents to support the implementation in Mass Production

Provide quality leadership, project management expertise, and technical knowledge in all aspects of product analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

New Product Qualification:

• Collaborate with the project team to support key project meetings, including project kick-off, design reviews, and product release.
• Closely coordinate with Engineering, PIE, and Lab teams during sample builds and testing qualification activities.
• Review and approve all quality and technical documentation, including SER, product check cards, and product specifications.
• Manage customer feedback and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Represent the QE team in communicating project status, risks, and key decisions to management, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
• Provide quality leadership in defining and scoping QE responsibilities for all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring a smooth transition from development to mass production.
• Develop project plans for new products and coordinate with the project team to ensure high quality product releases that meet project timelines. Mass production quality assurance
• Collaborate closely with the MQA/PIE team to drive continuous improvements in product design, engineering quality, and manufacturing operations.
• Support factory projects, including cost reduction, part localization, tooling transfers…

Job Requirement

Education:

• A University degree with Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in project management & leadership

Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of product development processes, production technologies, and quality standards.
• Familiar with ISO9001, APQP, FMEA, SPMP and the 6 Sigma tools
• Have knowledge quality tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, SPC, GR&R, CPK…and other relevant methodologies in manufacturing operations
• Experience & knowledge in a variety of product design

• Proven leadership with excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration at all organizational levels.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, high motivation, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Proficiency in spoken, written & presentation in English
• Demonstrated project management expertise with both direct and matrix leadership experience
