Location: 568 Luy Ban Bich, Hoa Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District.
Working time: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday – Friday) and 8:30 - 12:30 (Saturday Morning).
I. Job Objective:
Conduct in-depth ingredient analysis, develop/optimize new formulations, collaborate with advisors/Product Specialists, and work with manufacturers (OEM/ODM) to optimize quality–cost–time, ensuring products are regulatory-compliant and market-ready.
II. Key Responsibilities:
Research & Benchmarking: Analyze INCI/texture/finish/performance; identify differentiators and improvement opportunities tailored to Vietnam’s climate.
Formulation Development: Build effective, optimized formulas; select ingredients (film-formers, volatiles, elastomers, fillers/absorbers, pigment systems, etc.), define ratios and processes; ensure stability, sensorial quality, and safety in line with product objectives.
Testing & Quality: Monitor and evaluate formulas through consumer testing, stability and compatibility (packaging) studies, PET/challenge tests (when required), HRIPT/patch/claims tests; collaborate with QA/Regulatory teams.
OEM/ODM Collaboration: Draft product briefs, monitor samples/tests, optimize BOM/costing, control MOQ/lead-time, and participate in pilot and scale-up phases.
Technical & Regulatory Documentation: Execute, verify, and track COA, TDS, MSDS, CFS; prepare PIF data/INCI labeling/claims per ASEAN/US/UK regulations.
Quality Standards & AQL: Define standards, collaborate with QA/QC for batch testing, and handle CAPA when deviations occur.
User Testing: Organize target user panels; collect feedback on sensorials, longevity, oil control, transfer resistance, and translate insights into improvements.

III. Requirements:
Experience: ≥ 1 year in Cosmetics R&D/PD (open to high-potential fresh graduates in Cosmetic Science with strong experimental track record).
Direct involvement in ≥ 1 product development project (preferably with a launched product).
Understanding of end-to-end PD cycle: idea → brief → sample → test → BOM → pilot → launch → post-launch.
Preferably experienced with OEM/ODM (e.g., Intercos, Cosmax, Kolmar, etc. or equivalents); with proven cases of optimizing BOM/cost/lead-time.
Knowledge: Base/emulsion technologies, film-former systems, effect pigments, stabilizers, preservatives; familiar with common testing methods and regulatory requirements.
Tools: Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel (lookup/index-match, pivot); comfortable using AI/Notion.
Language: Strong reading comprehension of technical documents in English.
