Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a high standard of service and quality. Lead and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop team members. Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance skills.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and profitability. Implement strategies to improve revenue and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate on marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.

Job Requirement

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar role, preferably in a Japanese or sushi restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus.
  • Proficient in financial management and budget oversight.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
