Senior Accountant, Vietnam

Job Description

This position will be responsible for a portfolio of entities and oversee financial operations, mainly on Account receivable and General ledger matters.

• Responsible for timely and accurate in preparation and issuing of billings to tenants /keying of Accounts Receivable receipts and daily transaction following AR SOP.
• Managing the daily financial operations as well as preparing accrual/reversal and inputting all GL transactions for closing.
• Ensuring timely month-end closing, inter-company reconciliation, preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly management reporting, monthly bank reconciliation and audit schedules.
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT reporting.
• Responsible for timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, analysis of results, budgeting and forecasting, overseeing the audit process, and ensure timely submission to the relevant statutory bodies.
• Handling of corporate income tax including preparation of tax computation or working closely with the tax consultant on tax computation and attending to tax queries from the tax consultant or tax authority.
• Required to perform credit review for tenant selection, as well as liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters.
• Other responsibilities include internal control and compliance roles in respect of delegation of authority and other internal policies and SOPs.
• Involve in ad-hoc accounting/admin assignments as and when required

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Accounting or its equivalent. 
• At least 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting work.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with SAP system and/or real estate knowledge would be advantageous.
• Responsible, meticulous, analytical, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic setting and work in a cooperative manner across all supporting functions to perform in the role.
