Job Description

I. MAIN BUSINESS

  • The Supply Chain Director's main function is to manage and optimize all activities related to the enterprise's supply chain, including warehouse management, logistics, and associated processes.
  • This role is central to ensuring that goods are supplied on time, in sufficient quantities, and meet the desired quality standards for the stores.

II. RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Warehouse Construction Strategy:

  • Develop a warehouse construction strategy suitable to the company's scale, business goals, and requirements.
  • Determine the ideal location and structure for warehouses, as well as facility and technology requirements.

2. Setting Up Warehouse System:

  • Define processes and standards for managing and operating warehouse systems, including the use of warehouse management software and technology.
  • Establish security and safety measures to protect goods and employees during warehouse operations.

3. Inventory management:

  • Develop and implement strategies for building and managing warehouse systems to ensure that goods are stored, managed, and transported effectively.
  • Ensure that goods receiving and inspection, storage, and dispatch processes are accurate and safe.
  • Monitor and evaluate warehouse system performance, and implement improvement measures when necessary.

4. Logistics Management:

  • Develop and implement a logistics management strategy to ensure the transportation of goods from suppliers to stores is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure that logistics activities including transportation planning, packing, and distribution occur effectively.

5. Operation Management:

  • Create and strategically adjust departments’ activities, policies, and practices to meet and/or exceed KPIs and customer satisfaction goals;
  • Engaged in operating income initiatives, reducing operations costs and increasing efficiency;
  • Benchmarking and adopting industry best practices to drive state-of-the-art supplier management standard work;
  • Develop, implement, and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements;
  • Maintain responsibility for succession planning, organizational and talent development;
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with supply chain partners;

Job Requirement

1. Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related fields such as logistics, business administration, or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in English is an advantage.

2. Knowledge

  •  Deep knowledge of processes and technologies related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Deep understanding of the retail market in Vietnam.

3. Work Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience working in the supply chain field, with at least 3 years of experience in a senior management position.
  • Experience in setting up and managing warehouse and logistics systems for large-scale businesses is an advantage..

4. Foreign language

  • English communication skills, knowing Korean is an advantage

5. Computer Skills

  • Office computer skills

6. Skills

  • Deep knowledge of processes and technologies related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to effectively manage teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on data.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
