The Control System Supervisor designs and develops hardware, control systems, and automation solutions, from simple circuit designs to complex systems. This position specializes in industrial robotics, automated material handling, and integrated control systems for our growing data center network. The engineer oversees the entire process, from defining requirements to collaborating with end users on deployment, and also plans validation activities to ensure solutions are ready for mass production.
Design and improve processes or machines that are automation-friendly, including developing the necessary control systems;
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems in complex systems;
Own the operation and management of control systems;
Develop control systems for material handling and robotics, including design and software, where feasible;
Analyze problems in relevant domains and adapt or create new technologies from automated, autonomous, and industrial automation systems to solve them;
Document and validate automated processes in collaboration with domain experts;
Evaluate and develop techniques for probabilistic state estimation to support decision-making in automated systems;
Assist the senior technical team in creating a roadmap for the adoption of advanced technologies;
Support the engineering team by ensuring proper implementation of selected technologies;
Participate in technology transfers from collaborative projects, particularly in areas like uncertainty planning, machine learning, and probabilistic reasoning;
Oversee the fabrication and development of all new machines and hardware.
Job Requirement
1. Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Automation, Mechanical or related majors.
2. Experience:
At least 2 years in Automation, System Control, or Maintenance Management;
Experience in woodworking machinery and furniture manufacturing preferred;
Strong background in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, and electronic systems;
Proficient with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
3. Knowledge of:
Expertise in Mechanical design, PLC programming, Inverters, and Servo systems;
Proficient in design softwares: SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD;
Familiar with PLC devices from Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, and ABB;
Strong experience in designing, manufacturing, and programming automated control systems for production lines;
In-depth knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems, industrial robotics, BMS, EMS, high-frequency systems, and CNC machines;
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, machine/tool design, operation, repair, and maintenance.
