As an Online Sales Executive at Dragon Trails Travel Adventures, you will be responsible for driving online sales of travel packages, tours, and services through various digital channels. You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, maximizing revenue, and providing exceptional service to travelers seeking memorable experiences.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and sales leads received through online channels, including email, chat, social media, OTAs and the company website.
Proactively reach out to potential customers through online outreach efforts, lead generation activities, and targeted marketing campaigns to generate sales opportunities.
Educate customers about Dragon Trails Travel Adventures’ offerings, including destinations, itineraries, pricing, and booking procedures, to assist them in making informed travel decisions.
Customize travel packages and tour itineraries based on customers' preferences, interests, budget, and travel requirements, providing personalized recommendations and guidance.
Guide customers through the booking process, assisting with itinerary planning, reservation management, payment processing, and any additional travel-related services or requests.
Follow up with customers throughout the sales process to ensure a seamless booking experience, address any concerns or questions, and provide support as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, inquiries, bookings, and sales activities using CRM software or other sales management tools.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute online sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and achieve sales targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and improvement in Dragon Trails Travel Adventures’ online sales strategy.
Provide regular reports and updates on online sales performance, key metrics, and customer feedback to management, offering insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry, with a focus on online sales and customer service.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and persuade customers effectively in a digital environment.
Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences and building long-term customer relationships.
Proficiency in using online sales platforms, CRM software, and other relevant tools to manage sales processes, track performance, and optimize results.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
Knowledge of travel destinations, products, and services, as well as industry trends and best practices, to provide informed recommendations and advice to customers.
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed, to accommodate customer inquiries and sales opportunities.
