1. Summary:
This position will focus on supporting the operations on a day-to-day basis in the Production department related to all aspects of Safety, Health, and Environment.
This position will be the liaison between operators and supervisors to ensure rules and regulations are followed specifically to the requirements of Production, SHE Department and those of company standards.
2. Main Responsibilities :
- Perform regular safety walks on the operations floor.
- Develop, identify and implement risk assessments and hazards within Production as well as inform and cooperate with the SHE department to ensure all aspects meet requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and reporting of SHE Key Performance Indicators.
- Representative Production to Initiating and/or participating in the ESG (Environment Social Governance) Program, including but not limited to:
o Responsible for conducting company’s ESG strategy, managing the implementation of ESG in Production and reporting ESG performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
o Work with ESG Committee to embed ESG principles across Production.
o Work with internal stakeholder and implement cross-functional solutions/ initiatives across all aspects of ESG.
o Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines related to ESG with a keen interest to learn more.
o Support, conduct and implement training and educational programs related to ESG for employees across Production.
o Implement the relevant surveys on ESG programs to create/enhance a respectful working culture that is genuinely open and inclusive concerning communication, internal collaborations, and our general approach to employees and our daily work
- Support to implement related programs, policies, and procedures following SHE Department.
- Implement a safety working improvement program to increase employee satisfaction.
- Monitor processes for adherence following SHE guidelines to mitigate incidents.
- Learn and maintain an awareness of regulatory standards and good practices across Production.
- Prepare the training content for Production following the guidelines of SHE department and make the training plan to support ongoing SHE initiatives and continuous improvement in Production.
- Propose the inspection plan with Production Management team/SHE department and implement SHE routine safety inspections following the approved plan. Follow up corrective action in regular labor safety committee meetings with Production Management and SHE Department.
- Support Production Management team in creating an environment that focuses on improving safety behaviors within Production.
- Be the first contact point for any observations related to safety, environment and health within Production.
- Collaborates with the learning and development team of Production to help identify opportunities to improve the training system.
1. Education:
Required: College degree with Technical Background
Preferable: Bachelor’s degree with Environmental, Labor Safety, Occupational Health and Safety Engineer…
2. Professional knowledge of:
- Good knowledge of production management.
- Familiarity with product and manufacturing process.
- Presentation skill.
- Having basic knowledge of Lean.
- Well understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001 system
- Well understanding of S.H.E system
3. Knowledge of computer servicing:
Microsoft Office, AutoCad
4. Knowledge of foreign languages:
Intermediate level (Speaking, Writing, Listening)
5. Other (e.g. competences):
- Self-awareness and self-discipline.
- Self-planning and self-organizing.
- Strong in logical mindset and Analytical skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
6. Professional experience:
Mandatory: Not required
Preferable: 1 year of working experience in SHE roles or similar position
