Job Description

The Senior Sales Managerwill be pivotal in driving business growth by managing a portfolio of existing accounts and acquiring new customers. This role requires leading sales initiatives that align customer needs with WFS solutions, creating tangible value for clients, and acting as a key contributor in shaping sales strategies. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior team members to enhance the overall sales performance.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Create and implement account strategies that align with the company’s objectives and drive growth.
  • Conduct regular sales forecasting and budgeting for assigned accounts, ensuring targets are met.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve aggressive sales targets, contributing to the overall business growth.

Customer Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers, focusing on account retention and growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with the product teams to create tailored solutions for customers.
  • Lead customer visits, workshops, and presentations to enhance relationships, foster customer loyalty, and generate new sales.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to junior sales staff, helping them develop their sales skills and contribute effectively to the team.
  • Share key market insights and emerging trends with both the sales and product teams to align strategies and improve product offerings.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural talent for sales and building relationships.
  • Strong negotiation abilities, with a proven ability to close deals and build lasting client partnerships.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Fluency in Chinese is a plus. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. Excellent listening, moderation, and problem-solving skills. A collaborative team player with the ability to build effective relationships across teams. Ability to manage independently and perform at a high level with minimal supervision.
