Service and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. This role involves working closely with customers, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to service requests.
Installation & Commissioning:
Install and set up machines/equipment as required.
Conduct initial testing/commissioning and ensure proper functionality.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic faults.
Maintain detailed service records and maintenance logs.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
Identify and resolve equipment failures efficiently.
Provide technical support to customers or internal teams.
Ensure minimal downtime by resolving issues quickly.
Customer Service & Training:
Train customers in equipment operation and maintenance.
Consult customer concerns professionally and provide solutions.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all maintenance work follows safety regulations and company policies.
Use proper tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).
2+ years in equipment servicing, maintenance, or a similar role.
Good at English communication.
Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel for on-site service visits.
Ability to work in different environments (factories, industrial sites, etc.).
Possible shift work or emergency callouts
