Job description
The HR Manager will provide comprehensive oversight of all areas of HRM, including recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and employee relations for its school’s system (CISS) and business units. HR Manager will report directly to the MD, perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to:
HR strategy and planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify HR priorities and align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Lead workforce planning efforts to anticipate and address staffing needs and talent gaps.
Performance Management and Development:
- Establish performance management processes to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and evaluate employee performance.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management best practices and techniques.
- Identify opportunities for employee development and career advancement through training, mentoring, and succession planning initiatives.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and hire qualified candidates for key roles in the organization.
- Develop employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the securities industry.
- Implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated seamlessly into the organization.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure the company's compensation and benefits packages remain competitive in the market.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment and company culture that promotes employee engagement and productivity.
- Handle employee relations issues and grievances in a fair and consistent manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop and implement employee recognition programs to reward and motivate high performers.
HR Compliance and Risk Management:
- Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure company policies and practices are compliant.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Conduct audits and assessments to monitor HR compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in HRM, Business Administration or relevant to the HRM field.
- At least 7-10 years’ experience in international HRM, relevant position of HR Director for K-12 education would be an advantage
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles within the industry relating to education and training or service industry
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication in both Vietnamese and English
- Superior interpersonal and coaching skills including patience and ability to work well with staff at all levels.
- Hands on experience in administering a major HR software system e.g. HRIS, ERP, SAP etc.
