Purpose of the position: Oversee and optimize the logistics operations for imports, exports, documentation control, and compliance monitoring, as well as warehouse operations. Ensure smooth, cost-effective, and efficient workflows for both Raw Cashew Nut (RCN) Warehouses and Finished Goods (FG) Warehouses, with a strong emphasis on inventory management, safety, and quality in warehouse operations.

The Logistics Manager responsibilities focus on:
1. Imports & Exports
Imports:
Plan and manage the importation of Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN), ensuring compliance with customs and regulations.
Coordinate with the procurement team and shipping partners to track shipments and resolve delays or issues.
Handle disputes related to damaged containers or wet cargo with surveyors, insurers, and suppliers.
Exports:
Oversee Finished Goods (FG) exports, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and customer requirements.
Work with teams to manage export documentation and ensure timely shipments.
Track export performance and address inefficiencies.
2. Warehouse Operations
Ensure a safe and compliant warehouse environment, following safety regulations and company policies.
Implement safety measures, including fire safety, pest control, and equipment maintenance.
Conduct regular safety audits and training with the HSE team.
Use technology (like warehouse management systems) to improve efficiency and transparency.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce lead times, handling errors, and increase warehouse performance.
Monitor inventory levels and provide regular updates to management.
Collaborate with teams to improve warehouse processes.
Ensure quality standards are maintained for both RCN and FG.
Regularly inspect and resolve any issues related to GMP and warehouse operations.
Optimize warehouse layout for better space utilization and material handling.
Maintain accurate inventory records and track real-time stock levels to minimize discrepancies.
3. Raw Cashew Nut Warehouses (RCN):
Manage the storage, movement, and inventory of RCN, ensuring proper handling.
Coordinate with the procurement team to align stock levels with demand.
4. Finished Goods Warehouses (FG):
Ensure efficient stock movement and timely deliveries to customers.
Implement best practices for order picking, dispatching, and space usage.
5. General Logistics Management
Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve cost-efficiency and service levels.
Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Build relationships with shipping companies and logistics partners.
Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations.
6. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor warehouse and logistics teams.
Provide regular training to enhance team skills.
Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
Job Requirement
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, with leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of logistics management, including the import/export of raw materials and finished goods.
Proven experience with inventory management, warehouse systems, and operational planning.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to drive decision-making and improve operations.
Working cross-functionally across teams such as procurement, sales, and operations.
