Job Description

Purpose of the position:

  • Basing on knowledge, experience, relationship to develop business of project department in Viet Na
  • Focus on OOG cargoes, heavy & super heavy cargoes, project’s cargoes.
  • When wining project, PM will take responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for an organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Go to market for information about projects in Vietnam & oversea
• Working with Investors, EPC, DSV overseas, local clients to secure their shipments / projects
• Working with vendors, technical team for solution of logistics service for customers
• Conducts analytical feasibility studies for customers; negotiates rates, prepares and submits bids, tenders and quotations.
• Interfaces with vendors/suppliers, receives and reviews bids and ensures excellent services quality. Reviews service performance periodically.
• Supervises and coordinates freight movements with internal departments, the DSV worldwide network and customers. Develops an effective communication system to ensure maximum service to customers.
• Manage projects including monitoring, planning, coordinating and scheduling employees and services of vendors; arranges site visit and consultation and personally supervises on-site deliveries or vessel loading/un-loading when necessary. Travels to job and sites as required.
• Interfaces with government bodies, carriers and customers to obtain information and forecasts. Feeds significant changes to Project Director . Maintains working knowledge of Customs requirements.
• Ensures that country laws and regulations are obeyed, industrial and company policies, guidelines, procedures and practices are followed.
• Coordinate with Project Specialist, QHSE Team to investigate; give root cause; find corrective action all Incidents occurred on site; or barge. (if any)
• Update and report critical issues to Project Director in-time.
• Annual P&L KPI
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Authorities

  • Proactive to approach and discuss with customers for business as assigned
  • Provide and sign for quotation to customer.
  • Managing for all of activities on-site of projects and relevant shipments.
  • Supervise and manage for all technical and relevant required documents to submit customers for bidding.
  • Evaluating, choosing and approving for sub-contractor, bidding price, and other activities with advice from Project Director.

Job Requirement

  • University Degree/Equivalent
  • Five years business experience preferably in the areas of Projects, Windmill, turbine, heavy-lift and out-of-gauge / Oil & Gas / Sea & Air freight forwarding
  • Professional and confident salesperson based on the knowledge and experience approach
  • Project and time management/time allocation and organizational skills with attention to the details; multiple tasking skills
  • Strong planning, analytical, customer-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills in local and English languages, both oral and written
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experienced in CW1 Systems is a plus
