118321 - Chief Accountant - Design/Construction

<Job Summary>
This position will be responsible for the company's accounting department. Currently, an accounting consulting firm is providing support, but in the future, we plan to handle everything in-house. You will join as the Chief Accountant and get accustomed to the company and its operations. After approximately one year, based on your performance, you are expected to take on the role of Manager of the Accounting Department.

<Job Responsibilities>
- Prepare periodic monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the parent company in Japan
- Responsible for related tasks in the accounting department, operations, and assigning authority and responsibility to ensure work is on schedule and effective.
- Control and monitor the circulation of currency, goods, and debts, avoiding loss and discrepancies between actual and system data.
- Implement management of the company's budget activities.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports according to regulations.
- Prepare periodic or ad hoc reports as required by the Director.
- Preserve and store accounting documents and books in a reasonable, systematic, and professional manner.
- And some other tasks as required by the General Director.

<Necessary Skill / Experience>
・Language: English intermediate Level
・Experience: Have 5 years or more experience as a Chief Accountant. 
・Have a Chief Accountant certification.

- Not a Job hopper
- Must not have a career gap (blank period) of 6 months or longer.

<Preferable Skill / Experience>
・Japanese skill
・Management experience
・Experience working for a Japanese company or a strong understanding of Japanese culture.
・Experience in VAT refunds, transfer pricing documentation, and handling tax audits is a plus.
