132055 - Production Control - Equipment

RGF's Client - Japanese company - is looking for a Production Control to ensure smooth production planning and control by coordinating materials, schedules, and resources to meet delivery and quality requirements.

• Working Location: Ward Thanh My Tay, Ho Chi Minh City
• Monthly Salary: 12M ～ 20M VNS Gross

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact with outsourcing factories to implement production plans.
• Monitor production progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring on-time delivery (OTD).
• Coordinate with other departments (Planning, Sales, SCM) to adjust plans when changes occur and provide early warnings of risks affecting progress.
• Manage the delivery schedule of components from overseas (China/Japan), coordinating with the purchasing department of the outsourcing manufacturer and overseas contacts to ensure on-time delivery for production.
• Analyze production indicators such as cycle time and productivity.
• Control outsourcing costs (e.g., outsourcing cost, yield loss).
• Check ECR/EOL costs or costs arising from special circumstances.
• Propose solutions to optimize costs and improve production efficiency.
• - Conduct learning, improvement, and on-site work activities at factories domestically and internationally.

Necessary Skill / Experience
・Language: 

• Business English proficiency for listening, speaking, and direct work discussions & Japanese from N3 level or higher for listening, speaking, and direct work discussions.
•  OR:
• Business English proficiency for listening, speaking, and direct work discussions & Chinese from HSK 4 or higher for listening, speaking, and direct work discussions.

・Skills/Experience: 
For an experienced candidate: 

• At least 1 year of experience in production control (planning, procurement, assembly line, etc.)
• Knowledge of production management (Production planning/Schedule management/Productivity control/Understanding of BOM).
• Knowledge of outsourcing/vendor management (Understanding of outsourcing models/Ability to evaluate, manage, and control/Understanding of QCDEF production KPIs).
• Knowledge of supply chain management (Planning - Purchasing - Production - Delivery linkages/Knowledge of lead time, inventory, and basic logistics management).
• Skills in progress management and monitoring, clear communication, soft negotiation, problem analysis and solving, and reporting.
• Skills in using Excel and PowerPoint

For Fresher: 

• Have basic knowledge of production control or manufacturing management
• Skills in using Excel and PowerPoint

・Personal qualities: carefulness and proactiveness.

Preferable Skill/ Experience

• A desire to develop foreign language skills.
