1. Curriculum Development & Framework Design
Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of curriculum frameworks across all educational programs.
Coordinate the design and alignment of learning outcomes, scope and sequence documents, assessment frameworks, and curriculum maps.
Ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment across grade levels and subject areas.
Research educational trends, best practices, and international standards to inform curriculum enhancement.
Collaborate with academic leaders to ensure curriculum relevance, rigor, and coherence.
2. Curriculum Implementation & Professional Learning Leadership
Coordinate the rollout and implementation of curriculum initiatives across the school.
Develop implementation guides, curriculum resources, and supporting documentation.
Facilitate professional learning communities (PLCs), workshops, and academic training sessions.
Support teachers and academic leaders in applying curriculum expectations and instructional best practices.
Monitor implementation effectiveness and recommend improvements where necessary.
3. Academic Quality Assurance (Internal Audit)
Coordinate internal academic quality assurance processes and school-wide academic audits.
Monitor curriculum delivery, teaching quality, assessment practices, and academic standards.
Collect, analyze, and report academic performance data to identify strengths, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Support the development and implementation of action plans arising from audit findings.
Ensure consistency and compliance with established academic policies and standards.
4. Student Assessment Management
Coordinate the development and implementation of school-wide assessment systems.
Ensure consistency, validity, reliability, and fairness in assessment practices.
Monitor student achievement data and academic progress across programs.
Support academic teams in data analysis and evidence-based decision-making.
Coordinate assessment reporting processes and academic performance reviews.
5. Curriculum Delivery & Educational Quality Management
Monitor the effective implementation of curriculum programs across the school.
Support quality assurance of teaching, learning, and student care practices.
Work collaboratively with academic leaders to enhance student learning experiences and outcomes.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in curriculum delivery and educational services.
Support the implementation of academic improvement initiatives.
6. Professional Development Strategy
Support the design and implementation of whole-school professional development strategies.
Identify professional learning needs through performance data, academic audits, and school priorities.
Coordinate professional learning programs for teachers and academic leaders.
Monitor the effectiveness and impact of professional development initiatives.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
7. Accreditation & International Standards
Support school accreditation, authorization, and quality assurance processes.
Coordinate the collection and organization of evidence and documentation required for accreditation reviews.
Monitor compliance with Cambridge and other international quality standards.
Support the implementation of accreditation action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in preparing for external reviews, inspections, and accreditation visits.
8. Cambridge & MOET Compliance and Reporting
Coordinate academic reports and submissions required by Cambridge and the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).
Monitor updates to Cambridge and MOET regulations, policies, and academic requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of required reports and documentation.
Support external audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
Serve as a liaison between academic departments and external educational authorities when required.
9. Other Responsibilities
Participate in strategic academic projects and school improvement initiatives.
Support the Chief Academic advisor in achieving school objectives.
Undertake other duties as assigned by the Chief Academic advisor or Board of Director.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Education (especially in Math, Science or in English Language Arts and Social Sciences)
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
Experienced in Education industry before is highly preferred
Skills & Knowledge
English
Knowledge of Vietnam labour law, environment and health and safety regulations
Sensitive and good communication skills
Have a can-do mindset and be opened to be rotated in all areas
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Familiar with office computers skills
Ability to organize work independently as well as a team player, ability to observe and handle problems quickly and effectively.
