Job Description
Location: Sofic Office, Mai Chi Tho, Thu Duc, HCMC.
Job Purposes
The primary role of the Supervisor – Account Management is to assist Account Manager in strategically developing, improving, and solidifying business relationships with the assigned key customers and their vendors. He or she will also thrive to expand the scope of services of the assigned customers and increase revenue/profit where possible.
Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management: Strategically develop, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with assigned key customers and their vendor networks.
Business Growth & Customer Insights:
Proactively anticipate and understand customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Recommend and drive suitable solutions to support business expansion and performance growth.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Operations and Solutions teams to design and deliver value-added logistics solutions to customers.
Coordinate with Sales on new service requests for existing customers.
Ensure alignment and smooth execution of customer requirements across functions.
Contract & Renewal Management
Drive commercial strategies for renewal business across existing accounts
Ensure full alignment with MCL service scope and internal governance/approval processes
Lead and support contract negotiation.
Project & Initiative Support: Support and drive key initiatives and project implementations for assigned accounts to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Performance Management & Reporting
Develop, monitor, and review KPI performance with customers on a regular basis.
Coordinate with regional/global Account Management teams where required to ensure alignment and consistency.
RFQ & Commercial Management
Manage RFQ processes with assigned customers.
Work closely with Operations and Solutions teams to ensure timely and competitive proposal delivery.
Financial & Billing Management
Oversee billing processes with customers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with Finance to follow up and support collection of overdue Accounts Receivable (AR).
Investment & Approval Coordination: Coordinate with Finance and Solution Design teams to prepare approval documentation for contract renewal investments following successful deal closure.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Holder (in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred but not mandatory)
Experience:
At least 3-4 years’ experience in key account management in contract logistics/distribution center operations
Have Financial/Solution Design background (be preferred)
Functional Competencies:
Integrated commercial knowledge in distribution center services, transportation, freight forwarding, and Omni services would be an advantage
Good command of written and spoken English
Good in numbers and confident in customer-facing and presentation
Proven track record in negotiation and able to balance customer expectations and company requirements
Good problem solver with a positive attitude and teamwork approach at all times
Good MS Office, especially Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proactively manage transportation, readily moving and relocating as needed for work.
