Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting the Finance Manager in maintaining effective financial controls and reporting processes.

1. Accounting Operations

·       Supervise daily accounting activities including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Payroll accounting.

·       Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

·       Ensure all financial transactions are recorded properly and timely in compliance with company policies and Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

·       Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

·       Support tax declarations and statutory reports including VAT, CIT, PIT, and other local compliance requirements.

·       Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders when required.

·       Monitor updates in accounting and tax regulations and ensure compliance implementation.

3. Internal Control & Process Improvement

·       Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems.

·       Support implementation and monitoring of internal controls and accounting procedures.

·       Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency and accuracy.

4. Team Supervision & Support

·       Supervise and guide accounting staff in daily operations.

·       Support training and development of team members.

·       Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth accounting and financial processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Chief Accountant certificate is an advantage.
• Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; ERP system experience preferred.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• English communication skills are preferred.
