The Assistant Finance Manager will lead the Finance Control Team, taking full ownership of Ahamove’s operational financial control, including financial reporting, cash flow & treasury, AOP/budgeting, AP, and COD reconciliation.
We are looking for a modern finance leader who combines a strong Finance Business Partner mindset (analytical, forecasting, pricing insights) with AI-driven productivity. Beyond ensuring operational compliance, you will leverage AI and automation concepts to optimize traditional finance workflows, lead cross-functional financial decisions, and coach a high-performing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
AOP, Control & Reporting (45%)
- Budgeting & Planning: Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), rolling forecasts, and variance analysis (Forecast vs. Actual) for leadership.
- Financial Control: Guarantee the quality of monthly management reports with zero material restatements.
- Closing Management: Oversee the month-end close cycle across Finance, COD, and AP streams to ensure timely ledger closure.
- Compliance: Maintain internal control systems under VAS standards and act as the main POC for external audits and tax reviews.
Pricing, Commercial & Treasury (25%)
- Pricing Strategy: Review contract pricing using internal frameworks to evaluate and optimize commercial strategies for key accounts.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze industry trends and market share to benchmark and optimize the company's financial forecasting model.
- Treasury Operations: Manage cash positions, bank accounts, and optimize overall liquidity while controlling high-volume purchases and COD payments.
AI & Process Automation (15%)
- AI Productivity: Apply Generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to accelerate financial analysis, draft executive commentaries, and streamline documentation.
- Automation Mindset: Proactively identify opportunities to integrate AI/Automation workflows, aiming to reduce manual tasks and optimize the team's efficiency.
- Data-Driven Approach: Maintain a data-driven mindset to conceptualize how financial data flows can be better structured for faster decision-making.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management (15%)
- People Development: Manage, delegate, and mentor a team of 5 members, fostering growth and execution excellence.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Represent the Finance Control team in corporate initiatives, proactively communicating risks and financial insights to the Head of Finance.
- Strategic Ad-hoc: Support the CEO and Head of Finance with ad-hoc analysis for high-level decision-making.
