ASSISTANT PRODUCT MANAGER/ PRODUCT MANAGER

The Assistant Product Manager / Product Manager is a dual-role position that combines technical application expertise with commercial sales accountability. This role is responsible for driving business growth by managing a portfolio of healthcare and research instruments, providing clinical and technical application support, and developing new client accounts. The incumbent acts as the key technical and commercial bridge between the company, its suppliers, and its customers, ensuring product adoption, customer satisfaction, and market expansion.

1. Sales & Business Development

• Achieve and exceed sales targets assigned by the Manager for a designated range of healthcare and research instruments.
• Identify, develop, and secure new client accounts within the healthcare (hospitals, medical institutions) and research (laboratories, research institutes) sectors.
• Conduct product presentations, technical consultations, and commercial negotiations with key decision-makers.
• Prepare and submit technical proposals, quotations, and tender documentation in collaboration with the sales team.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and industry stakeholders.

2. Technical & Application Support

• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's product portfolio, including their clinical and laboratory applications.
• Provide pre- and post-sales application support, including product demonstrations, training workshops, and troubleshooting for customers and internal teams.
• Assist clients in optimizing the use of our instruments for their specific research or clinical workflows.
• Collaborate with the Technical Service team to investigate and resolve product-related issues promptly.

3. Marketing & Market Intelligence

• Execute marketing activities to promote product lines, enhance brand visibility, and generate new business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the healthcare and research sectors.
• Provide regular feedback and strategic recommendations to Management regarding market opportunities, product portfolio development, and competitive positioning.

4. Regulatory & Cross-functional Support

• Stay updated on Vietnam healthcare regulations and product registration requirements where applicable.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and international suppliers to support product approvals and market entry.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects related to product launches, strategic initiatives, or market expansion.

Masters/bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology/Medical Technology/Biomedical Science, Life Sciences 

Min. 4 years of direct sales or related experience for Product Specialist/ min. 6 years  of related experience for Assistant Manager

Fluency in written and spoken English

Industrial experience and application/industry know-how in the following industry will be an advantage:

o   Healthcare (hospitals/medical institutions)

o   Research (laboratories/Institutions)

· Individuals with a self-driven, goal-oriented, meticulous and positive attitude

· The resume/CV must be written in English

· Able to be based in Hanoi
